FLOOR SUPERVISOR

ROLE SUMMARY

• Making sure the floor and service team work efficiently throughout the shift, and managing service standards, guest satisfaction and the dining room.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assigning and directing the service team's tasks during the shift
• Making sure service runs to standard and on time
• Managing communication with guests and resolving requests and complaints quickly, with a focus on solutions
• Checking the opening and closing preparations of the dining room
• Overseeing the dining room's order, cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Coordinating with the kitchen team to make sure orders go out correctly and on time
• Supporting the training and onboarding of new team members
• Keeping shift reports and required records up to date
• Making sure hygiene, quality and workplace safety rules are followed
• Supporting location operations when needed

REQUIREMENTS

• At least a high school diploma
• At least 2 years' experience in restaurants or the service industry, preferably including team management
• Well-developed leadership and team management skills
• A focus on guest satisfaction and good problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm at a busy pace
• Knowledge of service standards and hygiene rules
• Good personal hygiene and compliance with uniform standards
• Ability to work shifts
